the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. So July 15th was like, the most exciting moment of my life. Imagine this:

You're in a movie theater waiting for Harry Potter to start. A preview come on, it looks like this:

You poke your friend when you get to the part about "Some heroes being born". You two giggle and bounce your legs. Yes, you are seeing the trailer for the Lightning Thief.

ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER

You and your friend decide to share a birthday party.

TODAY

I'm so excited that I find it necessary to make a countdown until the day of my party, President's Day 2010. That day's been on my calender for SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long. The Lightning Thief does not, in fact, come out that day. It comes out February 12th, only 10 days after Chili's birthday.

So now you know what this is:

Make your own Countdown Clocks

Live From Cupcake's Bedroom, It's Monday Morning!

Ha ha. I make myself laugh. Isn’t that a cute title? I think it’s great. I think everything great. Look at these cool pictures I took with my webcam!

I like that one!

All the effects were put in via Dell Webcam.

Here’re more:

Shhhhh! I’m under disguise!

Whassup Internet?

The spelling bee was yesterday. One kid was out sick from my class and he was supposed to be in the bee. My friend got out in the second round and I got out in the third. The kid standing in for the sick dude did really well, but the last fourth grader did best. The girl who won last year won again. Her brother's in my grade. This was her last year at my school. Happy Saturday!

"Double Digits!": Celebrating 10 Years Of Me!

Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday! Today is my birthday!

Did you get me a present?

How 'bout ten of them?

It's my 10th birthday and I'm so happy! It has been exactly ten years since I was brought into this world to make others happier. Along the way I have faced many hardships: Fights, tantrums, aches and pains, forgetting to do my homework, the occasional "I bit a girl at summer camp when I was four and got suspended."

There have also been good things: Every teacher who asked if I could stay with them and become Miss Cupcake, my 104% spelling tests, getting into the spelling bee and the top four in the fourth grade spelling bee, ummmmm...

There was other stuff!

I'm so glad I'm finally ten! Even if I'll always be younger than half my friends and older than the other half, I'm still ten! Even if Rockstar looks closer to ten than I do, I'm still ten!

As a joke, one of our contractors gave me a piece of defective flooring. I made some clothes out of tissue paper and drew a face in Sharpie. Her name is Michelle!

Happy birthday toooooooo meeeeeeeeeeeee...

I Can't Think Of A Good Title For This Post

Currently I am reading Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Before that I was reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. How did I hear about those? I read The Mother Daughter Book Club books by Heather Vogel Frederick, where in the first two, they read Little Women and Anne of Green Gables. I love both of the main characters, but if I were to have lunch with one character from a book, I'd invite Anne (or Cordelia) Shirley. She's got so much imagination coming out of her, I think I'd love her. Plus, she's closer to my age than Jo March is. On the subject of both of those girl classics, my brother's personal trainer has lost his man-card, or at least that's what Big Pain says. Why? When Big Pain came out of his workout session, my mom talked to the trainer. He saw I was reading Anne of Green Gables and said "I had lots of sisters so I read that! And Little Women too." I burst out laughing. I mean, sure those are classics. GIRL classics. Moving away from that subject, my mom hasn't read Anne of Green Gables and didn't like Little Women.
