There's Twisting AND Shouting?

To celebrate the 50th birthday of my school, we are singing songs from the sixties and seventies at our Grandparent's Day performance.

So everyone's singing these really old songs that were sung by these really old people.

The sixth grade is singing Twist And Shout by the Beatles.

So today in music, we passed around lyrics sheets and sang it. Well, we attempted to. One boy in my group actually knows the whole song.

So I looked at the lyrics and burst out laughing. Twist And Shout has the most outrageous lyrics, and the singing is even more outrageous.

It's hilarious.
